The Gifted courses are arranged so that students have the opportunity to take an honors weighted Gifted elective each semester or year of their high school curriculum. The Gifted program at the high school level is an enrichment course that focuses on a humanities curriculum from pre-history up through the Modern era. Students are able to take the course each year of high school and complete the full range of humanities content: art/history/literature/philosophy from the following blocks of time: Ancient/Middle Ages-Renaissance/1600's-1800's/Modern Age.
Assignments given throughout the year include art projects, creative writing assignments, research projects, travel journal, essays, literary and artistic analysis, novels, etc.
